Senator Flanagan is joining with Long Island Council on Alcoholism and Drug Dependence, Inc. and Suffolk County Police Department to sponsor a DRUG DROP OFF EVENT
Saturday, September 29th from 10 am to 1 pm
Selden Fire Department
Senator Flanagan is leading the fight to get dangerous drugs off our streets:
*Fought to ban the possession and sale of “legal” drugs like salvia divinorum, synthetic marijuana and "bath salts"
*Enacted the I-STOP Act to crack down on prescription drug abuse and distribution
Members of the Suffolk County Police Department will be on hand to anonymously accept any drugs that are in your home and safely dispose of them
In addition, counselors from the Long Island Council on Alcoholism and Drug Dependence will be available to answer any questions or offer private counseling
