Queens, NY, May 1, 2012 -- At the Veterans Job Readiness Workshop cosponsored by State Senator Joseph P. Addabbo, Jr. and Assemblyman Michael G. Miller held April 27 in Glendale's Atlas Park mall, veterans from the Bronx, Manhattan and Queens prepared for successful job searches and for the upcoming Veterans (& Spouses) Job Fair on June 8 at the Atlas Park mall, also cosponsored by Addabbo and Miller. Last Friday’s event brought help to local veterans (& spouses) to enter the job market from over 16 organizations and agencies had representatives who addressed benefits information, job searches, resume evaluations, interview tips and techniques, and transitioning to civilian life.
