Ten week summer program for underrepresented minority students to increase interest and knowledge of public health and biomedical science careers.

Application deadline is February 14, 2012
Eligible Participants include:
- Students who have completed at least two years of college or re-cent college graduates;
- African American/Black, Hispanic /Latino, American Indian, Alaska Native, Asian American, Native Hawaiian and other Pacific Islander;
- and/or economically disadvantaged.
SPHSP offerings include: Public Health field experience; seminars and lectures with public health leaders; faculty mentoring; visit to the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention in Atlanta, GA; and stipend upon program completion.
