Senator Nozzolio honors John Maslyn for his contributions to the Phelps community

Phelps- Senator Mike Nozzolio and Assemblyman Brian Kolb recently presented a special New York State Resolution to members of John Maslyn’s family paying tribute to John posthumously upon the occasion of having the Phelps Volunteer Fire Department and the Phelps Sauerkraut Festival Annual Parade named in his honor. John was a valued member of the community and played a pivotal role in organizing the annual Phelps Sauerkraut Festival as well as the Memorial Day program at the Midlakes Elementary School.
