“Friends of the Library” Members Honored at Flower Memorial Library
State Senator Patty Ritchie spoke to library supporters at the annual meeting of the “Friends of the Roswell P. Flower Memorial Library” in Watertown.
Lifetime members of the “Friends;” a group that advocates for public use and support of the library by generating funding and recruiting volunteers, were honored, as well as several outgoing directors.
Senator Ritchie spoke to those in attendance about her role on the Senate Select Committee on Libraries, library funding, and her support for the 50+ libraries in the communities she represents throughout Oswego, Jefferson and St. Lawrence Counties.
