Community Voices Heard Public Forum "Poverty: 50 Years Later"

Senator Andrea Stewart-Cousins participated in "Poverty: 50 Years Later" community forum on Wednesday, August 28th at the Riverfront Library in Yonkers, NY. Hosted by Community Voices Heard, the forum was an open discussion about poverty in the area, and what the community can do to end it for good. Community Voices Heard (CVH) is a "member-led multi-racial organization, principally women of color and low-income families in New York State that builds power to secure social, economic and racial justice for all".
