Don't forget, November 5th is Election Day, an opportunity to make our voices heard and shape the future of our state and its policies. When more New Yorkers vote, democracy thrives and our government more truly represents the people it’s meant to serve.
New Yorks' November 5th ballot includes many ballot measures, some of which will affect New Yorkers for decades or more. Some issues addressed by the propositions include casino gambling, service credits for veterans, age limits for judges, and a proposed land exchange to allow mining in the Adirondacks. Also to be decided this election day are the mayoral, district attorney, and county executive races for many cities and counties throughout New York State.
To find your polling place, please visit your county’s Board of Elections website. For more information, visit: http://www.elections.ny.gov/.
