WBWPC Annual Autumn Cocktails & Jazz Event

On Sunday, October 6th, Senator Stewart-Cousins, attended the Westchester Black Women's Political Caucus Annual Autumn Cocktails & Jazz Event held at the Mansion on Broadway in White Plains, NY. At this event, the Senator, along with other members of the WBWPC, honored Sylvia B. Hamer, Chief Diversity Office of NY Power Authority, and Zenaida Mendez, President of the National Organization of Women-NYS Chapter with the "Ladies of Distinction" Award for their commendable work and leadership in their respective industries. After the award ceremony was a performance by SAGE, the renowned all-women jazz and blues ensemble that had the guests swaying on their seats.
