Area students participating in the New Vision Government and Law Program meet with Senator Betty Little in her Albany office on Monday, April 15. The Franklin-Essex-Hamilton BOCES program brings college-bound seniors interested in pre-law, political science or criminal justice into the professional settings of lawmakers, attorneys, court clerks and law enforcement officials.
Senator Little discussed her government service and asked the students about their aspirations.
Visiting Albany were: Alexis Chapman (St. Regis Falls), Donovan DuCote (Chateaugay Central), Mallory Gonia (Brushton-Moira), Hunter Russell (Brushton-Moira), Matthew Swantson (Chateaugay), and Hattie Taylor (Brushton-Moira). Accompanying them were teacher Tracy Edwards-Warren and Todd Weber, a retired law clerk of the 4th JD.
