As you may know, I am the new State Senator representing New York’s 27th State Senate District, which includes much of Chelsea and Hell’s Kitchen, as well as Greenwich Village and parts of the Upper West Side, Midtown/East Midtown, the East Village and Lower East Side.

I welcome input from all of my constituents and I encourage you to reach out to my office with ideas, questions or concerns.  In addition, my staff can assist with a range of problems involving such issues as housing, healthcare, benefits/entitlements, etc., and can often help you resolve problems with City and State agencies.  My district office contact information is:

I also wish to invite you to attend my formal Swearing-In ceremony as New York State Senator for the 27th District.  Please join me on Sunday, January 13, 2013 from 2:00- 4:00pm as I open a new chapter representing much of the heart of Manhattan.  The ceremony will take place at the Fashion Institute of Technology’s Haft Auditorium, 227 West 27th Street between 7th and 8th Avenues.  Refreshments will be served at a reception immediately following the ceremony.
