Governor Andrew Cuomo has just unveiled his new Executive Budget Proposal -- marking the beginning of the State Budget negotiation and adoption process for the 2013-2014 Fiscal Year.
For the past two years, the Senate has passed on-time budgets that achieved our critically important goals of controlling spending, avoiding tax increases and helping to create new private sector jobs. This year, we will look to build upon this progress by passing another on-time, fiscally responsible budget that keeps our State moving in the right direction.
We encourage you to visit this section of our website on a regular basis to learn more about the Governor's new budget proposal, and to stay up-to-date on new developments as the budget review and approval process moves forward.
