Senator Young joined local officials and representatives from Heritage Ministries for a ribbon cutting ceremony for Orchard Grove at the Woodlands, a brand new adult care facility in West Ellicott.
Each of the three cottages, which are the first of their kind in Chautauqua County, contain twelve private rooms with a private bath and shower with “family-style” kitchen, living and dining room where seniors can congregate as they would in their own homes. Additionally seniors have access to outdoor recreational areas, perfect for enjoying the warmth of spring and summer.
Congratulations to Heritage Ministries! The new buildings are wonderful and are a terrific alternative for our seniors!
Pictured at the Ribbon Cutting are Cecil Miller (Town of Ellicott Supervisor), Greg Edwards (County Executive), Senator Cathy Young, Jacqueline Chiarot (Representative for Congressman Tom Reed), David Smeltzer (Executive Director Heritage Ministries), Donna Zariczny (Architect) and Assemblyman Andy Goodell.
