Senator Young was the guest speaker at this year’s St. Bonaventure ROTC Military Ball. Pictured here with Lieutenant Colonel Michael Bianchi, Master Sergeant Steven Stites and the ROTC students, Senator Young spoke about the values and life lessons she learned during her time at St. Bonaventure University. While the ROTC program is administered at St. Bonaventure, students from Houghton College and the University of Pittsburgh at Bradford also participate.
Not only does the ROTC program provide tremendous leadership opportunities and a military training, but it is one of the main pathways to becoming a U.S. Army officer. In fact, St. Bonaventure University has produced more than 700 lieutenants for America's Army.
Senator Young wishes great success to these future leaders!
