Recently, Senator Young attended a retirement party for Pat Rountree, the Executive Director of the Livingston County Economic Development Office and Livingston County’s Industrial Development Agency.
Pat Rountree began his role in Livingston County when he was hired by the Livingston County Board of Supervisors in 1988 to create an economic development organization in the county and to run Livingston County’s Industrial Development Agency.
During his tenure, the office launched a variety of programs including the Livingston County Microenterprise Assistance program, the Downtown Revitalization “Villages” program, the Small Business Loan Fund and the Business Education Alliance.
Pat also has been a huge part of the fabric of the area by volunteering his time and talents with countless charities and organizations, from economic groups to the Knights of Columbus and the United Way of Livingston County.
Pat was a key player in the economic successes of Livingston County and we wish him well in retirement!
