Senator Young was recently the keynote speaker at the Genesee Community College Rural Police Training Academy’s graduation. The Academy was established in 1985 as a training source for local rural Police Departments in the GLOW region, Genesee, Livingston, Orleans and Wyoming Counties, at the suggestion of area Police Chiefs and Sheriffs. The curriculum covers the same topics and materials as other Police Academies, but with a more localized approach that better suits rural communities.
Congratulations to the 2013 graduates!
