On August 10, I helped cut the ribbon to celebrate the opening of the new Mohawk Valley Collective (MVC) Tourism Information Center in Canajoharie.
I joined Congressman Paul Tonko, Tolga Morawski, founder of the MVC, Amsterdam Mayor Ann Thane, Canajoharie Mayor Francis Avery, Fort Plain Mayor Guy Barton, Montgomery County Board of Supervisors Chairman John Thayer, Minden Supervisor Thomas Quackenbush, Hein Kraak, president of Historic West Hill School; Mark Kilmer, president of the Fulton-Montgomery Regional Chamber of Commerce, Brian Stratton, director of the Canal Corporation and others to celebrate the event and raise money for flood relief.
