Specialist Veronica D. Reid is an honorably discharged veteran who served in the United States Army. Her years of service, from November 1983 to January 1988, were recognized by her receiving the Army Service Ribbon.
Ms. Reid joined Black Veterans for Social Justice, Inc. in 2003, and began her tenure as a case manager. She is currently the Officer of Veteran Services. She has the sole responsibility of developing, enhancing and working with public offi cials and legislators to promote new initiatives and funding for homeless veterans, their families and especially women veterans with children.
The success of the veteran programs of Black Veterans for Social Justice is a direct result of her tireless efforts and commitment to service. Her work has always been characterized by an impressive enthusiasm and an uncompromising standard of excellence – with the goals of superior organizational performance and realization of that same excellence for each veteran, family and community. Ms. Reid is an example for all who desire to work with or provide services to veterans.
