New York State Senator Jack M. Martins recently attended the Mineola Golden Age Club's 45th anniversary celebration and Chateau Briand in Carl Place. The Mineola Golden Age Club is truly an amazing organization that displays the talents of the Mineola's senior community. The club participates in numerous activies as the members have shared a comraderie and special bond they bring with them from the Mineola Community Center, where they regularly meet, to the casinos of Atlantic City, where the club sometimes travels to for trips.
Senator Martins was honored to share in the celebration as he presented a resolution that was passed on the floor of the Senate to club president Lillian Barnola. For 45 years, the club has flourished and continues to through the dedication of its members who continue to carry on its tradition.
