Senator Jack M. Martins frequently visits the schools around the Seventh Senate District. One of his favorite things to do is read book with the students. He had an opportunity to do just that when he participated in the Manorhaven Elementary School Community Read Aloud.
Senator Martins read "Zen Shorts" with the students. It is a story is about three siblings and their new neighbor, a panda, and invites children to consider the world and their perceptions from different angles.
The Manorhaven Elementary School is in the Port Washington School District.
