Senator Jack M. Martins secured state funding to alleviate a dangerous traffic condition in Plandome Mayor. Working with the Village of Plandome Manor Mayor Barbara Donno, Nassau County Executive Ed Mangano and Nassau County Legislator Richard Nicolello, the dangerous traffic conditions that exist at the triangle intersection of North Plandome Road, Plandome Road and Stonytown Road in will soon be a think of the past.
"I was proud to be able to secure the state funding for improvements to this area that will include the installation of traffic lights as well as a new island and pedestrian walkway by the county. This project makes our roads safer. Thank you Mayor Donno, County Executive Mangano and Legislator Nicolello. This project will put an end to a longstanding problem that has caused accidents in the area," Senator Martins said.
