Earlier this week, I joined Joni Monroe, Executive Director of the Rochester Regional Community Design Center, to announce the first two grant recipients of their development & design fund program. This program provides grants to non-profits seeking to implement physical improvement projects in the City's northeast neighborhoods, and is funded by the generous Farash and Wolk Foundations.
Congratulations to the Dazzle School of Visual & Performing Arts, which is relocating to a building on Webster Avenue, and the Joseph Avenue Business Association, which is opening the Joseph Avenue Museum of History & Religion at 692 Joseph Avenue.
