MTA Bus Service Restorations, Enhancements to Begin Sunday

As part of the MTA’s $17.8 million in service improvements announced over the summer, the MTA will begin implementing several restorations and improvements this Sunday, January 6.
Some of the restorations include:
B24 weekend service from Greenpoint to Williamsburg Bridge Plaza via Sunnyside;
B39 service from Williamsburg Bridge Plaza to Lower East Side Delancey/Allen Streets via Williamsburg Bridge;
B48 service south of Atlantic Avenue to Prospect Park station via Franklin Ave/Classon Avenue;
Q24 service west of Broadway Junction to Bushwick Avenue via Broadway.
In addition of these restorations and enhancements the MTA is continuing to work with Brooklyn stakeholders in developing new services to address community needs in areas such as Downtown Brooklyn, the Williamsburg waterfront and East New York.
Additional restorations and enhancements throughout the city are also scheduled to begin this Sunday.
