New York City School Bus Strike Underway, DOE Provides Information Online for Students and Parents

In a recently mailed letter to parents regarding school bus driver strikes, the NYC Department of Education has provided a list of online resources for students and parents.
Information regarding, affected routes, MetroCards, reimbursements, and online curriculum for students who may miss classes, has been made available.
In addition, the NYPD has confirmed that additional officers and crossing guards will be available to help manage the anticipated increase in students walking to school, or using public transportation.
