Geneva- Senator Mike Nozzolio recently toured the New York State Agricultural Experiment Station in Geneva where he had the opportunity to see the new greenhouse construction project. Senator Nozzolio was instrumental in securing a $4.7 million grant for the Station, one of the largest grants in the Station’s history. This grant money will be used to help reconstruct and modernize 21,000 square feet of greenhouses at the Station. During his visit, Senator Nozzolio also had the honor of recognizing Dr. Susan Brown for her research which led to the creation of new apple varieties known as “Snap Dragon” and “RubyFrost.”
