Senator Phil Boyle applauded the recipients of the Girl Scout Gold Award at the Council's Gold Award Ceremony on June 26, 2013 at Captain Bill's in Bay Shore.
"Those who have received the Gold Award and are being honored today are extraordinary young women recognized for their outstanding achievements," Senator Boyle said. "I am pleased to congratulate them for their dedication and am very proud of their service to our community."
The Girl Scout Gold Award is the highest honor one can achieve in Girl Scouting. The young women who earn this award exemplify the values of leadership, character, and service that are at the heart of Girl Scouts.
