On October 3rd, 2012 the New York City Retired Transit Police Officers’ Association honored Senator Tony Avella at their annual membership meeting. Ed Russo, president of the association, presented Senator Avella with a plaque “in recognition and appreciation of your dedication and continued support of the men and women of law enforcement.”
The New York City Retired Transit Police Officers’ Association represents the retired officers of the New York City Transit Police Department.
