Democratic Conference Leader Stewart-Cousins Visits Poughkeepsie for the 3rd Annual Breaking Barriers Cultural Arts Expo

Democratic Conference Leader Senator Andrea Stewart-Cousins joined Senator Terry Gipson on Saturday, August 2nd, for the 3rd Annual Breaking Barriers Cultural Arts Expo in Poughkeepsie. The mission of Breaking Barriers is to bridge the gap between cultures and diverse orientations in the community.

Democratic Conference Leader Andrea Stewart-Cousins said, “In just one term in the State Senate, Terry Gipson has already distinguished himself as an outstanding public servant who is dedicated to his constituents and the entire Hudson Valley.  I want to thank Senator Gipson for inviting me to the 3rd Annual ‘Breaking Barriers Cultural Arts Expo,’ and I look forward to working with Terry, and my colleagues in the Senate Democratic Conference, to break down the barriers to success that so many New Yorkers continue to face.”
