"Irvington Rocks" Anti-Bullying Event

Senator Andrea Stewart-Cousins attended "Irvington Rocks" in support of the Irvington Diversity Foundation, Inc. anti-bullying efforts on Saturday, April 7th held at the Irvington High School Campus Theater. The event was attended by local celebrities, including Steve Weatherford, punter for the New York Giants (pictured with the Senator trying on his Super Bowl ring), who spoke about his personal experience with bullying, and the importance of acceptance and diversity. It also showcased local musicians and presentations in various media by local students and teachers that followed the event's theme of acceptance and diversity.
