Over the weekend as part of the tour to get to know Buffalo, Democratic Conference Leader Andrea Stewart-Cousins stopped by 145 Broadway, the home of the Colored Musician Club of Buffalo, frequented by jazz legends such as Duke Ellington, Billie Holiday, and Ella Fitzgerald during their time, and the longest operating African-American Musicians Club in the nation which still runs the best live jazz music in town.
