(New Rochelle - October 2nd) Senator Stewart-Cousins was in New Rochelle for the dedication of the Ruby Dee Park. The Library Green was renamed for the actress and civil rights activist who called New Rochelle home and raised her family here along with her actor and activist husband, Ossie Davis. Her grandson, Muta'Ali and her daughter Nora Davis Day, were on hand as were so many who wanted to participate in this important event.
