Senator Stewart-Cousins stopped by the Scarsdale-Edgemont Girl Scouts Gold Award Ceremony on Sunday, June 8th to recognize girls receiving the Girl Scouts Gold Award. These awards are given to girls who "live the Girl Scout Promise & Law in their daily life by identifiying issues they care about and making a lasting positive impact in the communities". This year's recipient included Angela Coco, Julia Cotter, Shannon Cover, Gabriella Salvatore, Kalila Sharpio, Madeline Ware, and Dana Wohlfarth, all pictured with the Senator.
