Spend the Day at Your Favorite Park Tomorrow For "Love My Park" Day

This Saturday, May 3rd is 'Love My Park Day’ and all New Yorkers are encouraged to go out, enjoy the spring weather, and volunteer at their favorite park. This year, ‘I Love My Park Day’ is generating record numbers with 83 participating parks and historic sites, 3,000 pre-registered and over 6,000 anticipated volunteers. In addition to a greater number of volunteers and participating parks, this year’s ‘I love My Park Day’ is again partnering with NYS Commission on National & Community Service and has obtained major news media and corporate sponsors. Volunteers who would like to support clean-up and beautification efforts at sites across the state, including areas that sustained major damage from Superstorm Sandy, can register at PTNY.org/ILoveMyPark.
