(Greenburgh - December 10th) State Senator Andrea Stewart-Cousins recognized the heroic efforts of Jenna Fanelli with a Senate Proclamation at the Greenburgh Town Board meeting. This summer, Jenna was in Yonkers at a riverfront park when she learned a six year old autistic boy had gone into the river. Another man, Boyce Coleman of Yonkers, had jumped in after the child and so did Jenna. The 23-year-old Elmsford resident was able to bring the child back to shore safely. Unfortunately, Boyce did not survive. You never know how or when the skills you have - Jenna is an accomplished swimmer and lifeguard - will be called into action. Thank you Jenna!
