Restore the M3 to University Place
Brad Hoylman
September 18, 2014
Last month I spearheaded a joint letter to the Metropolitan Transportation Authority/New York City Transit and New York City Department of Transporation calling for the restoration of the M3 bus line’s former northbound route starting on University Place from 9th to 14th Streets. As CB2 noted in its June 20, 2014 resolution, restoring the M3 bus line to its previous start will benefit the Central Village’s senior citizens and disabled persons, as well as mothers and children, working people and tourists, who currently must walk a great distance to access a northbound bus route. Please see our letter below.
