70th Anniversary of D-Day

Today marks 70 years since Allied soldiers stormed the beaches of Normandy and began the liberation of Europe that would lead to the eventual end of World War II.
In commemoration of the brave men who fought on D-Day, and throughout World War II, the State Senate passed a resolution this week paying tribute to our veterans.
