State Senator Hugh T. Farley (R, C, I – Schenectady) attended the Yellow Ribbon Ceremony on April 9th in Saratoga County. He presented Carol Hotaling of Clifton Park with copies of the New York State Senate Resolution recognizing April 9th as Yellow Ribbon Day in New York State. Hotaling, known as the “Yellow Ribbon Lady”, created the day to remind people about the sacrifices made by America’s military personnel, and honor and remember U.S. prisoners of war and those missing in action around the world. Also at the ceremony were Southern Saratoga Chamber President Peter Bardunias and Past President of the Blue Star Mother’s Janet Moran.
