State Senator Hugh T. Farley (R, C, I – Schenectady) had the pleasure of touring Mother Teresa Academy, located in Clifton Park, on March 4th. He also read books to several students as part of the school’s Literacy Week activities. Principal Dr. John G. Metallo, first grade teacher Abigail Mason, and second grade teacher Heather Mound also enjoyed the Senator’s readings. Senator Farley said at least 15 minutes a day of reading to children or encouraging other language activities could make a difference in a lifetime of learning.
