Senator DeFrancisco Helps Announce the 11th Round Grants for Growth Recipients

On August 18, 2014, at The Tech Garden in Syracuse, State Senator John A. DeFrancisco helped announce the nine new recipients of the Grants for Growth program. A total of $474,944 was awarded in the program's 11th round. The new investment will leverage $919,207 in matching funds to support emerging regional companies.
Grants for Growth is made possible through state funding secured by Senator DeFrancisco. The program helps to stimulate the local economy and create jobs through the successful collaboration between private businesses and academic and research institutions throughout Central New York.

MacKintock - Industrial Software company working with SUNY Cortland
Quansor - Water quality sensing company working with SUNY Binghamton
Tuzag - Ad Tech company working with Syracuse University
ZYMtronix - Bio-chemistry company working with Cornell University
