Senator DeFrancisco Sponsors Second Annual Electronics Recycling Event

On June 14, 2014, Senator John A. DeFrancisco sponsored his second annual electronics recycling event, which was free to the public. Hundreds of residents dropped off their old televisions, computers and various other electronics during the event held at Time Warner Cable on Fair Lakes Road in East Syracuse. Senator DeFrancisco is pictured with Alice Kim from TWC.  

Proceeds from the recyling of these items will benefit a local organization that was formed by a group of caring children to purchases flags and flowers for Veterans Park in East Syracuse.  The event was made possible by community partners: Time Warner Cable, Bruin Recyling, and Flags and Flowers for the Veterans.
