Senator Bonacic at the Sullivan County Superintendents Council Forum, Friday, March 7

Senator Bonacic visited with the Sullivan County School Boards Association and the Sullivan County Superintendents Council forum to hear their concerns on educational issues including funding and the common core.  Here is the Senator with (l to r) Monticello Schools Superintendent, Daniel Teplesky; school board members Ellen Nesin and Stacey Sharoff; and Sullivan County School Board President, Alice VanEtten.  They're holding the framed pen certificate of a bill Senator Bonacic sponsored and which became law, that allows school districts, under certain circumstances, to optionally provide transportation for pre-K students.
