National Purple Heart Day is August 7th

Today is National Purple Heart Recognition Day – a day that provides every American with a  moment to reflect on the heroic actions of those who protect our way of life.  These brave men and women deserve our deep appreciation every day for their selfless efforts. 

Days like today are a great reminder of their sacrifice and I would like to say thank you to each and every one of our servicemembers – those currently serving and those who have served in the past – for their dedication to our nation.
