ADDABBO PARTICIPATES IN LOCAL SCHOOL’S ANNUAL READ ALOUD

State Senator Joseph P. Addabbo, Jr. participated in P.S. 254 The Rosa Parks School’s annual Read Aloud. This year, school officials chose Of Thee I Sing by President Barack Obama which is comprised of short biographies of influential and inspirational American heroes.

“It’s always important to visit young students, and getting to share heroes’ stories is truly an added bonus,” Senator Addabbo said. “Too often, these stories get overshadowed by tales of trouble and crime, and it’s easy for our youth to become jaded by that. But in reality, it’s the uplifting stories that should be highlighted every day. The more good we share, the better our community can be.”
