In 1974, Andrew Langston had a vision of creating a radio station that would be for the people and connect with the community. It is with this vision that 103.9 WDKX was born. On Saturday evening, WDKX celebrated its 40th Anniversary with performances by national recording artists Sevyn Streeter and Chrisette Michele, as well as many talented local recording artists. No one knows how to throw a party like WDKX, congratulations on 40 wonderful years!
