National Domestic Violence Awareness Month
Joseph E. Robach
October 1, 2014
I was pleased to join Alternatives for Battered Women and the Rochester/Monroe County Domestic Violence Consortium to help kick-off National Domestic Violence Awareness Month. Domestic violence is a crime that rips families apart and can affect people of all social, racial and geographic backgrounds.
I am proud to have sponsored legislation to further protect victims of domestic violence from their abusers and protect them economically and financially as they recover physically and/or mentally from their abuse. Please visit www.abwrochester.org to find out what you can do to help stop or prevent domestic violence.
