Senator Kathleen A. Marchione (R,C-Halfmoon) today (Friday, May 30, 2014) was a panelist at the New York East Hugh O’Brian Youth (HOBY) Leadership Seminar held at the Legislative Office Building in Albany. During today’s seminar that included 250 high school sophomores representing public and private schools from 22 upstate counties, Senator Marchione spoke about the importance of public service and the spirit of volunteering to help improve the quality of life for communities. The students pictured next to, and behind, Senator Marchione are using their arms to make the letter "O" for "outstanding," as a sign of their, and HOBY's, appreciation for the Senator's participation at today's bi-partisan seminar.
