On Saturday, February 22nd, Senator Lee Zeldin joined with Briarcliffe College in Patchogue to "Give a Kid a Smile.”
In honor of Children’s Dental Health Month, students and staff at the College were on hand to provide free dental screenings to area children and their families including dental cleaning, treatments and patient education.
“It’s easy to underestimate the importance of oral hygiene, especially in our youngest kids, but dental screenings like the ones provided on February 22nd play a critical role in our overall health and wellness,” said Senator Zeldin. “To be able to bring that to our community is incredibly important and I thank the leaders and students of Briarcliffe College for providing the opportunity for us to do so.”
