Remembering Dora Young - Street Renaming

Dora Young was  the 29th Assembly District Leader and Executive Co-Leader of the Guy R. Brewer Democratic Club, who as the City Clerk of Queens married over 300,000 couples civil ceremonies at Borough Hall. She was honored with a street renaming - 197th Street at the corner of Linden Blvd. has been renamed Dora H. Young Way. Senator Smith is seen here with Brenda Carr, Dora Young's niece.
