New York City is taking aggressive steps to ensure the health and safety of all New Yorkers. For weeks protocols have been in place and healthcare staff prepped for a quick and concise containment of any person suffering Ebola-like symptoms or confirmed presence of the virus. These protocols have been successfully implemented.
The Centers for Disease Control and Prevention, along with New York City health officials maintain and informative website, and have been distributing literature about the virus and preventative measures.
