Reclaiming Newtown Creek

Senator Dilan recently joined North Brooklyn Development Corp Executive Director, Richard Mazur and the North Brooklyn Boat Club for a canoe tour of Newtown Creek. The club, along with organizations such as the  Java St Community Garden, are stewards of the ongoing remediation of the creek. These groups are host to a number of environemental education projects finaced by the Greenpoint Community Environmental Fund.
