Canandaigua- Senator Mike Nozzolio and Happiness House recently cosponsored an Autism Summit for families dealing with a diagnosis of autism. A number of autism experts and area professionals participated in the roundtable discussion to explain what services and assistance are available for families dealing with autism. Senator Nozzolio secured funding to establish the Happiness House Autism Evaluation Center in Geneva and cosponsored legislation to require accident and health insurance companies to provide coverage for screening, diagnosis and treatment for patients on the autism spectrum.
